Assessment: this is the process of gathering data to track progress and allow instructors to make necessary educational decisions or lesson adjustments. Their are many tools that can be used assess a students progress such as, tests, exams, essays, projects etc. Measurement: is the process of determining the assessments on the basis of definite standards and are expressed in definite words, symbols or units. In education, you can see measurement as percentages, raw scores, percentile ranks, derived scores, and standard scores. Evaluation: is the process of determining whether a subject, such as a student, meets a preset criteria. |
